Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
